The Honor 9X & Honor 9X Pro were announced in China way back in July last year. The two smartphones then made its way to India this January. In the following month, there were rumors and leaks on a Lite model in the series called Honor 9X Lite. Now, the handset has made its official debut in Finland.

Honor 9X Lite: Price & Availability
The Honor 9X is priced at Euro 199 (around Rs. 16,600) in two color variants, Emerald Green and Midnight Black. Users who register their purchase before 30 June can get a free Honor Band 5. Sadly, there is no word on its international release.
If the phone does arrive in India, its price should be significantly lower since the Honor 9X price in India starts at Rs. 13,999, which is lower than the 9X Lite price in Finland.
Honor 9X Lite: Specifications & Features
As mentioned, the Honor 9X Lite is a watered-down model of the Honor 9X & 9X Pro with several similarities. The handset sports a 6.5-inch FullView display with FHD+ (1,080 x 2,340) resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Unlike its premium siblings, the 9X Lite only gets a water-drop notch design, not the pop-up camera. The display is protected by a 2.5D curved glass layer. Under the hood, the phone gets processing power from a Kirin 710 SoC, aided by 4GB RAM and 128GB storage (expandable with a microSD card).

Around the back, there are two cameras, both of which are vertically placed inside a rectangular camera module at the upper left corner. The setup includes a 48MP primary sensor and a 2MP portrait camera. On the front, the brand goes for a 16MP camera for selfies and video chats. Next to the camera setup, there is a fingerprint reader that can be used for biometric security.
To take care of the software side of things, it is pre-loaded with Android 9 Pie out of the box with EMUI 9 running on top. It is powered by a 3,750 mAh battery that only supports standard 10W charging technology via a USB-C port. Other notable features include dual-SIM slots, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS / GLONASS, and Wi-Fi 802.11 ac.
