Huawei’s sub-brand Honor is going to launch the Magic Watch 2 and Honor 9X in India in January 2020. However, we are not sure which version the brand will bring to the Indian market. Currently, there are two versions of this phone, including a Chinese version and a global version. The global version is quite similar to the Chinese version, except for the Kirin 710F chipset, three cameras instead of two, and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner instead of a side-mounted unit.

To recall, the Honor 9X launched in China in July this year while the Magic Watch 2 arrived last month. The watch features an AMOLED panel, up to two-week battery life, and sleep tracking. Aside from that, Honor also confirmed that its Vision TV and Magic Book will be launched in India in 2020.

Honor 9X: Features & Specifications
The Honor 9X is the direct successor to the 8X with upgrades in camera, design, and hardware configuration. The handset features a curved glass panel and a chevron finish. Thanks to the pop-up selfie camera, it sports a 6.59-inch FullView display with FHD+ resolution. Housed on the pop-up module is a 16MP camera for selfies and video calls. For security, it is equipped with a fingerprint reader mounted on the rear.

Powering the phone is a Kirin 710F chipset, coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. For photography, it carries a quad-camera lens setup with a 48MP main sensor. Other units on the system are 2MP depth sensor and 8MP ultra-wide camera. Software-wise, it runs on Android 9 Pie out of the box with EMUI 9.1 on top. Unlike recent Huawei smartphones, the Honor 9X launching in India will still have Google services and apps. Keeping the phone running is a 4,000 mAh battery with 10W charging tech. Connectivity features include USB Type-C port, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, and A-GPS/GLONASS.
