Honor’s forthcoming event on 23 July will involve the launch of the Honor 9X and 9X Pro. Now, ahead of their launch, the two handsets pass through China’s TENAA with their full specs revealed. Moreover, we also get a first look at one of the phones in the upcoming Huawei Mate 30 series, the Mate 30 Lite.
According to the listing, the Honor 9X & 9X Pro will both sport a 6.59-inch IPS display with Full-HD+ resolution. Another similarity is the 16MP selfie camera that is present on both phones. In addition, the Honor 9X & 9X Pro will also make use of the Kirin 810 SoC under the hood.
Moving to the differences, the Honor 9X will be available in three variants -- 4GB RAM / 64GB storage, 6GB RAM / 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM / 256GB storage. On the other hand, the 9X Pro will only be available in two options - 6GB RAM / 128gB storage & 8GB RAM / 256GB storage. In terms of camera, the 9X is expected to feature a dual camera setup with 48MP primary camera and 2MP secondary camera, whereas the Pro model will be equipped with a triple 48MP + 8MP + 2MP camera setup.
Both Honor’s latest smartphones will be fueled by a 3,900mAh battery. For security, the brand goes for a fingerprint reader at the back of the two phones. Their colour variants will be Red, Blue, Black, Gradient Blue, and Gradient Purple.
As for the Huawei Mate 30 Lite, the handset will feature a 6.26-inch IPS panel with Full-HD+ resolution and a 32MP selfie camera. At its back, there will be a quad camera system, including a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP sensor, and two 2MP sensors. Security-wise, there will be a fingerprint scanner at its back as well. Just like the Honor 9X duo, the handset will be powered by a Kirin 810 processor, coupled with 6/8GB of RAM and 128/256GB of storage. It will also pack a 3,900 mAh battery under the hood.
While we know that the Honor 9X & 9X Pro will make its debut in the upcoming week, we haven’t got any idea of when the Mate 30 series would launch.
