Honor 20 Series Confirmed To Launch On 21 May

Honor is set to launch its next series dubbed Honor 20 at a launch event in London on 21 May.

The launch date of the Honor 20 series is officially confirmed to be 21 May. The Chinese phone maker will announce its series at a launch event taking place in London. The first offering in this new series will most likely be the Honor 20i which was confirmed to come to China tomorrow. For now, there have not a lot of details about this phone surfaced online besides teasers from Honor showing its selfie camera.
The Honor 20i has already been confirmed to launch in the Chinese market tomorrow. It will come with a 32MP AI front camera housed in a dewdrop notch on top of the display. It is the only confirmed detail so far. Expected specifications include a 6.2-inch FHD+ display with a 2,340 x 1,080p resolution, Kirin 710 processor, 4GB/6GB of RAM, 64GB/128GB of storage, and a 3,400mAh cell.
Moving to the Honor 20 Pro, it has been featured in quite a few leaks in the last couple of weeks. It is tipped to come with a 6.1-inch OLED panel with an on-screen fingerprint scanner, the most power Huawei-made chipset Kirin 980, and three memory configurations — 6GB RAM/128GB storage, 8GB RAM/128GB storage, and 8GB RAM/256GB storage. The phone is expected to come with a triple rear camera setup, including a 48MP primary camera, a secondary 20MP shooter, and a third 8MP camera. Up front, there will likely be a 32MP selfie camera. Other rumored features include Link Turbo, GPU and CPU Turbo, and Gaming+. As for the price, it is said to be offered at around RMB 2,999 (around Rs. 31,100).

Lastly, the Honor 20, which is rumored to be the flagship device in the series, will likely come with the top-of-the-line chipset from Huawei, the Kirin 980 chipset as well. It is expected to come with the same triple rear cameras and selfie camera as the Honor 20 Pro. Other notable specs include the latest Android 9 Pie and a 3,650mAh cell.
