Honor 20 Series Confirmed To Launch In India On 11 June

The upcoming Honor 20 series is now confirmed to come to India on 11 June after they are globally announced on 21 May in London.

The next flagship series from Honor, the Honor 20, is now officially confirmed to launch on 11 June. Ahead of the Indian launch, the smartphones are expected to be unveiled on 21 May at a launch event taking place in London. The upcoming Honor flagships are said to come with the new ‘dynamic holographic design” as well as a hole-punch and curved display.

In terms of specifications, they are said to come with a 6.26-inch panel along with a glass-sandwich design and a holographic design. Powering the phones will most likely be Huawei’s Kirin 980 SoC, coupled with 6/8GG RAM + 128/256GB of storage which can be further expanded.

In terms of camera, they are expected to sport quad cameras stacked in an L shape. The main camera is said to be a 48MP Sony IMX 586 sensor while the rests are a 16MP 117-degree ultra-wide-angle camera, an 8MP telephoto camera with OIS, 3x optical zoom, and a 2MP 3D Time-Of-Flight shooter with an f/2.4 lens. On the front, there will be a 32MP selfie camera.

On the other hand, aside from the Honor 20 and Honor 20 Pro, the company will offer a lighter model on the series dubbed Honor 20 Lite, which was already introduced in Malaysia. It comes with a Huawei’s Kirin 710 SoC, 6.21-inch dew-drop notched display, triple cameras on the rear, including a 24MP + 8MP + 2MP cameras. There is a 32MP selfie camera handling selfie duties. The processor is coupled with 4GB RAM + 128GB storage. Other features include a fingerprint scanner on the rear and Face Unlock feature for security, Android 9.0 Pie, 3,400mAh with 10W fast charging support.

For now, Honor hasn’t confirmed whether they will announce all three handsets in the Honor 20 series in the Indian market. We will update you as soon as we have any more information available.
