Honor 20 Reaches 1 Million Units Sold In Just 14 Days

The Huawei's sub-brand Honor has just announced that its newly-launched Honor 20 has just reached 1 million units sold in just 14 days.

Huawei has announced the Honor 20 series last month amidst the US-China trade war, and Huawei was caught in the middle of it.

For now, the series is only up for sale in the company’s home country China, and it seems like Huawei is still doing very well in the market. The company just announced that its Honor 20 achieved 1 million units sold in just 14 days. The Huawei’s sub-brand also takes this occasion to announce the arrival of the Honor 20 Pro in China.

The more premium Honor 20 Pro will come in two memory variants, 8GB of RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB of RAM + 256GB storage. The two variants are priced at RMB 3,199 (around Rs. 32,200) and RMB 3,499 (around Rs. 35,200). Its prices in China are significantly lower than its global price which is said to be €600 (around Rs. 46,800) and its price in India (Rs. 39,999).
For now, only the standard Honor 20 is available in the international market, and it is slashed to launch in the UK on Friday. It is already up for pre-order via UK retailers for the handset. The prices are set at £399 (around Rs. 34,800) for the variant with 6GB RAM / 128GB storage and users can get a free Honor Watch Magic if they pre-order the phone by 20 June.

To recall, the Honor 20 sports a 6.26-inch FHD+ display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Powering the phone is a powerful in-house Kirin 980 SoC, paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. At the back of the phone, there is a quad camera setup, comprising of a 48MP primary camera, a 16MP ultra-wide camera, a 2MP dedicated macro camera, and 2MP depth sensor. On the front, there is a 32MP camera for selfies and video chat. For software, it ships with Magic 2.1 which is based on Android 9 Pie. Finally, it features a fingerprint scanner mounted on the rear and is fueled by a 3,750 mAh battery.
