Honor 20 Lite Launched: 6.21-Inch Dewdrop Notched Display, Kirin 710 SoC, Android 9 Pie

The Honor 20 Lite goes official in Malaysia and the UK with a 6.21-inch FHD+ dewdrop notched display, Kirin 710 SoC, and Android 9 Pie out of the box.

Ahead of the event announcing the Honor 20 on 21 May, Huawei’s sub-brand Honor just officially unveiled the Honor 20 Lite in the UK and Malaysia. The smartphone will be launched as the successor to the last year’s Honor 10 Lite. This new mid-range phone comes with a Huawei’s Kirin 710 chipset, a triple camera on the rear, and runs the latest Android 9 Pie at launch with Huawei’s EMUI 9 on top.

Honor 20 Lite: Price

The handset is launched at a price of 949 MYR (roughly Rs. 15,850) in the Malaysian market and 249 GBP (around Rs. 22,600) in the UK. While users can already buy the phone in Malaysia, the UK consumers will have to wait until 15 May to buy the phone via local carriers. It is said to come to other markets in Europe as well. Buyers will have three choices in color, including Phantom Blue, Midnight Blue, and Phantom Red.
Honor 20 Lite: Specs & Features

The phone packs a 6.12-inch FHD+ panel with 2,340 x 1,080p resolution and a dewdrop notch on the top of the display. As mentioned, there is a Huawei-made Kirin 710 SoC ticking at its core along with 4GB of RAM / 128GB of internal storage. The phone ships with Android 9 Pie-based EMUI 9 out of the box.

On the camera front, it comes with a triple camera system at the back, including a 24MP main camera, a secondary 8MP snapper with an ultra-wide angle lens and a 2MP depth sensor. Up front, there is a 32MP selfie camera for handling selfie duties. For biometric authentication, it supports both a fingerprint scanner on the back and Face Unlock feature. It also has standard connectivity options like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, and 4G. The handset measures 154.8 x 73.64 x 7.95 mm and weighs 164g. Lastly, the Honor 20 Lite is powered by a 3,400 mAh battery under the hood.
