Honor 20 Leaked Render Shows Triple Rear Camera, On-screen Fingerprint Scanner

Honor’s upcoming smartphone named Honor 20 has been spotted in a Weibo post with the detailed specifications, price, and photos. According to the post, the device is likely to sport three rear cameras and a gradient rear panel. Under the hood, the handset runs on Huawei’s Kirin 980 chipset and features a fingerprint sensor under the screen as well as a battery with a capacity of 3,650mAh. The triple rear camera system will likely comprise of a 48MP primary camera, and the selfie camera will have a 32MP sensor.
The Weibo tipster 'ichangezone' shared an image of the upcoming smartphone’s rear panel, alongside its price and main specifications. As per the tipster, the device will be available in 3 variants with different prices. In particular, the variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage will be priced at RMB 2,999 (approximately Rs 31,600). Meanwhile, the variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage and the 8G RAM/256GB internal storage option will have respective prices of RMB 3,399 (approximately Rs. 35,800) and RMB 3,799 (approximately Rs. 40,100).
The leaked renders of the upcoming Honor 20 show the rear panel of the smartphone in a gradient white finish with vertically-stacked three rear cameras. The render also shows that there is no fingerprint scanner on the rear panel and the leaks hint a fingerprint scanner under the screen. Additionally, the smartphone is expected to sport a 6.1-inch display with a water-drop notch. In terms of software, the device will run on Huawei’s Kirin 980 chipset.
It is said that the camera setup on the back will comprise of a 48MP, a 20MP, and an 8MP shooters with 3X optical zoom support. Besides, the upcoming smartphone is reported to achieve 108 DxO points. For selfies, there is a 32MP front-facing camera and the phone will pack with a battery with a capacity of 3,650mAh. Also, the device comes with a USB-C port and the GPU Link Turbo tech for an immersive gaming experience. The launch timeline of the Honor 20 has not been announced yet.
