Honor, a subsidiary of Huawei has announced the Honor 10 Lite in India at an event in New Delhi. This smartphone had been previously launched in China in November 2018. The device features a waterdrop-notch display and Kirin 710. The smartphone is the successor of the Honor 9 Lite, which has sold over 1.5 million units in India.
Prices and offers
The 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage variant is available for Rs 13,999 in India, the 6GB Ram + 64GB internal storage variant is priced at Rs 17,999. Both models have Magic Night Black, Lily Valley White, Gradient Red, and Gradient Blue. This smartphone will be available for sale on Flipkart and HiHonor India from 12 am IST on January 20, 2019. The device's launch offer includes Rs 2,200 cashback voucher from Jio Reliance and a Cleartrip voucher worth Rs 2800.
Specs and features
The Honor 10 Lite has a size of 154.8 x 73.6 x 8 mm and has a Hybrid Dual SIM system. The device sports an IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen of 6.21 inches with water-drop notch and a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels.
The smartphone runs on Android 9.0 OS, it packs the Hisilicon Kirin 710 (12 nm) chipset along with the Mali-G51 MP4 graphics processing unit, ensuring a graphical performance that can make games run smoothly. The handset has 4GB or 6GB RAM, internal storage of 64GB or 128GB and allows expandable storage of up to 512 GB. The phone also has a 3,400 mAh battery.
Regarding the camera, the Honor 10 Lite has a 13-megapixel (f/1.8) + 2-megapixel rear camera and a 24MP (f/2.0) selfie camera. What makes the two cameras special is that they are AI-based, which gives them the ability to automatically select scenes and adjust camera settings depending on the scene, helping users take better photos. The device also features a Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor, and Gyroscope. The phone is equipped with a fingerprint sensor (on the rear) and facial recognition unlock security function. The smartphone weights 162 g.
