Google doesn't seem to care much about the design aspect of the upcoming Google Pixel 5a as it looks pretty much the same as its predecessors.

Google launched the Pixel 5 in October of last year, alongside the Pixel 4a and Pixel 4a 5G, both of which are the watered-down version of its predecessor Pixel 4. This year, the company will also launch a more affordable variant of the Pixel 5, dubbed Google Pixel 5a, but it appears that there won’t be a 5G model this time.

It seems like Google won't offer a 5G version for this product line.

Recently, famous tipster @OnLeaks has shared a series of renders of Pixel 5a, thereby giving us a more detailed look at the design of this phone ahead of the official launch.

The render shows the Pixel 5a with a flat display and a punch-hole cutout in the upper left corner for a single selfie camera. On the back, the handset will a square camera cluster with two sensors and an LED flash. In addition, we also see a fingerprint sensor on the back of the device.

Google will keep the 3.5mm headphone jack on the Pixel 5a and place it on the top edge. The bottom edge of the device is where the USB-C port is located, while the right edge has the white-accented power button and a volume rocker.

The handset is said to have a 6.2-inch OLED display with FHD + resolution just like the Pixel 4a 5G. The back of the phone will reportedly be made of plastic, which is again similar to the Pixel 4a & 4a 5G.

The Pixel 5a is said to have dimensions of 156.2 x 73.2 x 8.8mm (9.4mm with the camera bump). The other specs of this phone are still unknown, but we can expect a larger battery capacity, more powerful processor, and improved camera setup over its predecessor Pixel 4a.
