Gionee F9 Plus is finally announced in India. The phone sports a 6.26-inch FullView display with HD+ resolution and a dewdrop notch for the selfie camera. Powering the handset is an octa-core processor with 1.65GHz clock speed and 3GB of RAM. In terms of software, it boots Android 9 Pie at launch to take care of the software side of things. Other features include a dual rear camera setup (a 13MP main sensor and a 2MP depth sensor), a 4,050 mAh cell, and a fingerprint reader at the back. Aside from that, the brand also announced a new sub-brand called GBuddy, which has already introduced wireless neckband headset, power banks, earphones, and wireless headphones.
Gionee F9 Plus: Price
The Gionee F9 Plus costs Rs. 7,999 in India for the single variant with 3GB of RAM + 32GB of storage. The phone also comes in a sole Blue color option. It is available for sale along with GBuddy accessories via the brand’s distribution network of around 42,000 retail outlets and leading e-commerce websites.
Gionee F9 Plus: Specifications
The handset comes with a 6.26-inch FullView display with HD+ (720 x 1,520p) resolution and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. Powering the handset is an octa-core chipset with 1.65GHz clock speed, and the brand hasn’t revealed its name yet. Coupled with the processor are 3GB RAM and 32GB of storage, that is user expandable via a microSD card slot up to 256GB. For software, it ships with Android 9 Pie at launch.
On the imaging department, Gionee equips its smartphone with a dual-camera setup that comprises of a 13MP main sensor with an LED flash and a 2MP secondary shooter. On the front, it has a 13MP camera for taking selfies and video calling. Security-wise, it features a fingerprint scanner at the back for biometric authentication. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth, and 4G VoLTE. Finally, it is powered by a beefy 4,050 mAh cell under the hood.
