If the leak is to be believed, the Galaxy S20 Ultra will have hardware specs and features that completely outperform the Samsung Galaxy S20 and S20 +.

Just one month from now, Samsung will launch Galaxy S20, S20 + and S20 Ultra flagship smartphones, marking a new decade of the Korean giant. In particular, the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra seems to be a super high-end smartphone, with technologies and features we have never seen.

Not 50x zoom, but it will support 100x zoom

A recent leak has revealed that the S20 Ultra will be equipped with a 108MP camera. The high-resolution sensor will support pixel binning technology and the 48MP periscope lens with 10x optical zoom capability. It will support up to 100x hybrid zoom instead of 50x, and Samsung names it "Space Zoom".

For comparison, the Huawei P30 Pro can only maximize optical zoom by 5x and maximum hybrid zoom by 10x. That means the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra is able to enlarge objects 10 times while retaining significant detail of the image.

Besides the 108MP main camera and the 48MP periscope camera, the S20 Ultra will have an ultra-wide 12MP camera and depth-of-field ToF sensor.

The Galaxy S20 and S20 + camera setup will not be as impressive as the S20 Ultra

The Samsung Galaxy S20 and S20+ have screen sizes of 6.2 inches and 6.7 inches along with QHD + resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz. These two smartphones are smaller in size, so the camera will not be as impressive as the S20 Ultra.

Instead of a 108MP sensor, Samsung will equip the Galaxy S20 and S20 + with a 12MP main sensor, with a 2x periscope lens. In addition, the ToF sensor has been removed, so the S20 will only have three rear cameras, while it will be replaced with a macro camera on the S20+.

Key specifications of Galaxy S20, S20 + and S20 Ultra

Samsung's upcoming flagship smartphones will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 865 or Exynos 990 processors. Aided the two chipsets will be 12GG RAM and 128GB storage. Particularly Galaxy S20 Ultra will have a top-end model with whopping 16GB RAM.

The Galaxy S20 will have a 4,000 mAh battery, while the Plus model will have a 4,500 mAh battery. On the other hand, the S20 Ultra will be equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery. Galaxy S20 Ultra will also be more special with support for 45W fast charging.

All three smartphones will support 1TB microSD memory card, come pre-installed with Android 10 and OneUI 2.1, support wireless charging and reverse wireless charging, with eSIM.
