Galaxy S11 Renders Surfaced Online; Reveal Key Design Changes

The Galaxy S11 will come with several key changes in terms of design on both the front and back panels. The device is expected to launch in February 2020.

The closer to the Galaxy S11 launch time, the more rumors are leaking about the upcoming Samsung flagships. After a series of rumors about the camera, battery life, and variants, now the first render images of the Galaxy S11 have surfaced online, revealing interesting information about the design of the devices.

Earlier, reports said that the Samsung Galaxy S11 would be just an upgraded version of the Galaxy Note10's design. And indeed, the new render images published by leaked expert OnLeaks today confirm those rumors.

Specifically, the Galaxy S11 will have a different front design, in which the punch-hole position is moved to the top center and that is similar to the Note10. The back of the device has another difference, which is about the main camera cluster of the device. The rear cameras are now housed inside a rectangular module that looks exactly like the Galaxy M30s launched earlier this month. Of course, to be able to equip a cluster of 4 main cameras, Samsung needs a different camera design instead of continuing to place them vertically. Apple has shown how the vertical placement brings a lot of disadvantages, but Samsung may have a more distinctive design, instead of making a rectangle that looks like the mid-range Galaxy A and M series.

From the images, we can also see the rectangular camera cluster of Galaxy S11 is even designed to protrude significantly. The reason behind this camera cluster seems to be that Samsung has equipped with a new 5x lens system and a 108MP sensor, based on previous rumors.

At the moment, we still do not know what the "fate" of the affordable S11e will be, but Samsung will certainly launch three versions of the Galaxy S11 with three different screen sizes. Each version may have additional variants that support 5G networks at a higher price. And of course, the configuration will remain in the top ranks in the first half of next year.

The Galaxy S11 is expected to be launched in the second half of February 2020, which means there will only be about 3 months left.
