Samsung will launch the Galaxy S11 and S11 + in mid-February 2020, with many design changes. A recently leaked image has revealed the front glass panel of the Galaxy S11+, showing these new changes.
The photo was leaked from the source of IceUniverse with very high reliability. Confirming that the Galaxy S11 + will have a punch-hole in the top center similar to the Note 10. Besides, the bezels are very thin, and the Galaxy S11 + will still have a curved screen.
It is safe to assume that the Galaxy S11 + still uses an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for security, rather than equipping a new 3D facial recognition system. However, Samsung will probably use the new generation ultrasonic sensor that Qualcomm has just launched, promising to fix the problems of the old generation sensor.
We also know that the Galaxy S11 and S11 + will come with a lot of upgrades in the camera system. Previously leaked images have revealed the Galaxy S11 and S11 + will be equipped with a huge rectangular rear camera cluster, with a total of five cameras, a 108MP main sensor, and a 5x zoom. Their cameras could supports features like Vertical Panoramas, Night Huperlapse, 8K video recording, Director’s View, Single Take Photo, and more.
Galaxy S11 and S11 + will be equipped with Snapdragon 865 processor for most markets around the world whereas a few markets will welcome the Galaxy S11 and Galaxy S11+ with Samsung’s Exynos 990 SoC. The battery capacity may also be improved to make up for the higher power consumption of the 5G connectivity. Also the 3.5mm headphone jack will be removed, and only USB-C will be included.
On the front, the Galaxy S11e could carry a 6.3 or 6.4-inch display while the size of the display of the Galaxy S11 and S11+ are tipped to be 6.7 inches and 6.9 inches, respectively.
