As many rumors as there have been about the Galaxy S10, another new leak has come up on Weibo which contradicts to the previous ones.

In the past few months, there have been reports on the Galaxy S10; however, the launching date is still so far in the future that reports may conflict with one another. For instance, earlier this week, Techie Word – a tech blog about mobiles – posted a screenshot taken on Weibo indicating information that seems contrast to what was previously rumored about the phone – in particular, the camera.
If you haven’t heard much about the up-coming Samsung smartphones, it is rumored that the Galaxy S10’s base model code name is SM-G970 and that of the Plus is SM-G975.
As revealed by this leak, the S10 will have dual rear cameras, including a 16-megapixel f/1.9 and a 12-megapixel f/1.5 camera; plus two front cameras which are 8-megapixel f/1.9 and 16-megapixel f/1.9. Yet, such a camera system makes no sense on the base S10.
There are a few ways to explain why the latest leak and the previous ones are conflict. It is obvious that this new leak is not valid, so there’s no need to take it serious. However, before dismissing the rumor completely, we should note that the other information seems to line up with our expectations as well as what was rumored previously.
The phone was leaked to come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, 5.8-inch OLED display, Android 9.0, 3190 mAh battery, a USB-C port for charging, 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
According to SamMobile, the Samsung Galaxy S10+ is reported to feature 6.44-inch OLED screen, with five cameras in total including triple rear cameras and dual front cameras. Finally, the third rumor about the Galaxy S10 said the phone will have single front camera and dual cameras on the back.
You may also want to remember that on Tuesday, SamMobile separately reports that the cheapest Galaxy S10 will come with only 64GB of internal storage, not 128 GB. If the leak is true, it’s worth noting down; however, it would refutes the Weibo leak.
Well, after all, there’s a lot to learn before we can get the official specs at the launch.
