After launching the Galaxy S10 lineup back in March, the South Korean phone maker Samsung is reportedly planning to announce one more model in the series dubbed Galaxy S10 Lite. Now, its battery capacity has been confirmed on Anatel - a Brazillian certification agency. According to the listing, the Galaxy S10 Lite will feature a 4,370mAh battery, which we believe is the rated capacity. That means the typical capacity should be 4,500 mAh. With this big battery, the Galaxy 10 Lite will feature an even larger battery than the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+.
Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite: Expected specifications
There have already been a few leaks about the Galaxy S10 Lite in the recent time. Powering the device is tipped to be a Snapdragon 855 octa-core chipset and it will be paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Camera-wise, it will likely have triple cameras at the back. The setup will include a 48MP main sensor, a 5MP depth-sensing camera, and a 12MP wide-angle lens. On the front, it should boast a large 6.7” Super AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution and a punch hole on top for a 32MP selfie shooter. A 4,500 mAh battery was also mentioned on the previous leak. The Galaxy S10 Lite might be positioned between the Galaxy S10e and Galaxy S10, considering the specs. Color variants of this phone will reportedly include Prism Blue, Prism White, and Prism Black.
The price and availability of this phone haven’t been mentioned in any leak yet. However, we believe that the brand should announce the device soon as details about the Galaxy S11 have already surfaced online. We still advise you to take all of the leaks with a grain of salt. Aside from the Galaxy S10 Lite, Samsung is also said to be working on a more affordable model of the Galaxy Note 10 in the recent future.
