The Galaxy M30s is tipped to come with a 48MP main sensor, an Exynos 9610 SoC, a massive 6,000mAh battery, and up to 6GB RAM / 128GB of storage.

Samsung announced the Galaxy M30 in March this year in the budget segment as one of the earliest offerings in the new Galaxy M series. Now, it seems like the brand is planning to launch the successor to the phone dubbed Galaxy M30s. The handset is said to come with a triple rear camera setup with a 48MP main sensor and the new Samsung’s Exynos chipset.

The Galaxy M30s will come with a triple camera setup at the back with a 48MP main sensor, according to the source. Another notable highlight of the upcoming Galaxy M30s will be its battery capacity. According to the industry source told IANS, “Samsung has gone for industry-leading battery capacity for the new smartphone. Galaxy M30s will also support fast charging”.

To recall, Samsung first announced the series earlier in the year as a replacement for the Galaxy J and Galaxy On series. The Galaxy M30s is expected to be the company’s key offering for the online segment during the festive season.

Earlier in the week, the brand announced the Galaxy A30s & Galaxy A50 as the direct successors to the Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A50, respectively. The two phones both feature a triple camera setup, a beefy 4,000 mAh battery with support for fast charging, and more. Moreover, both of them are equipped with an on-screen fingerprint reader for security.

Samsung Galaxy M30s: Leaked specs

The Galaxy M30s was recently spotted on Wi-Fi Alliance website with a model number of SM-M307F. That also suggests that the phone should make its debut pretty soon. Two of the most significant upgrades over the Galaxy M30 should be the chipset and battery. The handset is tipped to feature a whopping 6,000 mAh battery, which is a sizeable upgrade over the already-huge 5,000 mAh cell on the Galaxy M30.

This forthcoming handset is also expected to feature a Samsung’s Exynos 9610 SoC at its core, whereas its predecessor M30 was driven by an Exynos 7904 SoC. However, it will still likely come in two memory configurations - 4GB of RAM + 64GB of storage and 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
