Galaxy M01 & Galaxy M11 To Launch In India Next Week; Specs Leaked

Samsung Galaxy M01 and Galaxy M11 will reportedly be two upcoming phones to launch in the entry-level segment in India early next month.

Samsung released the Galaxy M11 back in March for the UAE market. Now, a new report claims that the giant is planning to launch the Galaxy M11 for the Indian market in early June. The report further states that Samsung will also announce the entry-level Galaxy M01 in the country to compete against the likes of Realme C3 and Redmi 8A.
Samsung Galaxy M01: Specifications & Features
The report has shared several leaked promo photos that reveal the design and specs of the upcoming Galaxy M01. According to those photos, the phone will carry a 5.71-inch TFT display that supports up to HD+ (1,560 x 720p) resolution. Under the hood, there will be a Snapdragon 439 SoC powering the phone alongside 3GB RAM. You will have 32GB storage inside this phone, which can be further expanded with a microSD card slot.
In terms of software, you can expect Android 10-based One UI pre-loaded on the phone. For photography, it will reportedly carry a 5MP camera on the front for picturing selfies and dual cameras at the back. The setup might include a 13MP main sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. It will be backed by a beefy 4,000 mAh battery that only supports the standard 5W charging solution. A previous leak revealed that the phone could be available in several colorways such as Red, Blue, and Black.

The back panel of the phone is made of polycarbonate and is available in three colorways, Black, Blue, and Purple. On the front, it sports a 6.4-inch LCD panel with Infinity-O design and HD+ resolution. For selfies, there is a single 8MP camera on the front with an f/2.0 lens, housed inside a punch-hole at the top left corner of the screen.
Around the back, the device is equipped with three cameras, including a 13MP main sensor with an f/1.8 lens, a 5MP ultra-wide-angle camera with an f/2.0 lens and a 115-degree field of view; and a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 lens. Camera features include Full-HD video recording at 30fps, Live Focus, and more.
The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 450 SoC and comes in in two variants, 3GB RAM + 32GB of storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB storage. And you can expand the internal storage with a microSD card. Under the hood, it gets a massive 5,000 mAh battery that gets 15W fast charging support, which is not too bad for an entry-level smartphone.
