Galaxy A70s With 64MP Camera Setup Spotted in Official Poster, Launch Seems Imminent

It seems like the Galaxy A70s will make its debut in India very, according to an official poster from Samsung. According to a poster shared by 91mobiles from the company’s official store in the country, the Galaxy A70s is listed alongside the Galaxy A30s and Galaxy A50s that have already made its way to India.
However, the poster only shows the images two Galaxy phones, and we are not sure which phones are shown there. The only thing it mentions about the Galaxy A70s is its name. The poster also doesn’t give us any details about the phone.
According to previous leaks about the Galaxy A70s, it was said to be the first phone from the South Korean phone maker to come with a 64MP sensor. As per its alleged listing on the benchmarking platform Geekbench, it might be driven by an octa-core Snapdragon 675 SoC, which is coupled with 6GB of RAM. Software-wise, the handset was listed to come with Android 9 Pie with the company’s OneUI on top.

The launch date of the Galaxy A70s in India is also still under wraps as well. However, the poster might suggest that the handset could still launch sometime this month. For now, we have only just got one smartphone with a 64MP sensor, and it is the Realme XT. In addition, the Galaxy A70s will arrive as a minor upgraded model over the Galaxy A70, which was retailed at Rs. 28,990 when launched.
To recall, the Realme Xt has just been announced in India yesterday with a starting price of Rs. 15,999. The handset sports a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with 91.9 percent screen-to-body ratio. It is driven by a Snapdragon 712 SoC, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
Fueling the setup is a 4,000 mAh battery with support for VOOC 3.0 charging technology (20W). In terms of camera, there is a quad camera setup at its back that includes a 64MP main sensor, along with 8MP + 2MP + 2MP sensors. On the front, it is equipped with a 16MP snapper for taking selfies and video chats.
