Galaxy A70s, which is expected to be a slightly upgrade version of Galaxy A70, just passed through Geekbench with Snapdragon 675 SoC & 6GB RAM.

Samsung is expected to announce the Galaxy A70s, which is an upgraded model of the Galaxy A70 that launched in May this year. Now, a Samsung smartphone with SM-A707F model number was just listed on Geekbench with several key specs. The phone in question is tipped to be Galaxy A70’s successor, the Galaxy A70s.

Galaxy A70s' benchmarks show that there won't be a significant difference in terms of performance between the A70 and A70s

According to the listing, the phone is driven by a Snapdragon MS6150 chipset, which is also known as the Snapdragon 675 SoC. The chipset is coupled with 6GB of RAM, but it might pack more RAM variants when launched. Software-wise, it will run Android 9 Pie at launch, possibly with Samsung’s custom UI on top. The phone achieved 2,365 and 6,372 points in the single-core and multi-core tests, respectively. That is quite interesting as its benchmark scores are on the same level as the Galaxy A70 that is packed with the same chipset.

The key difference between the Galaxy A70s and its predecessor Galaxy A70 might be cameras, design, and some extra features. Considering the fact that Samsung recently announced its new ISOCELL Bright GW1 64MP sensor, there is a high possibility that the upcoming Galaxy A70s will be the first smartphone from the brand to feature one. Reports tip that the brand might launch the smartphone with the 64MP sensor in the third quarter of 2019. If that is true, the phone’s launch will take place in either August or September.

As for color variants, the Galaxy A70s will likely be available in White, Lavender, and Black colors. Unfortunately, many of these are from leaks, so we can’t say that all of them are true, so you should take them with a grain of salt. However, since it already passed through Geekbench, we believe that there should be more details coming out soon.
