Galaxy A51 To Go On Sale This Month In India; Galaxy A71 Released In Mid-February

The Samsung Galaxy A51 will likely be available for sale at the end of this month while the Galaxy A71 will be up for purchase in early half of next month.

Samsung Galaxy A71 and Galaxy A51 are two latest additions to the Galaxy A-series that were announced in December 2019. Previously, the two smartphones were tipped to go on sale in India sometime this month. Now, a new source claims that Samsung will release the Galaxy A51 late this month in India while the Galaxy A71 is slated to go on sale in mid-February. To recall, the Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A71 are both positioned in the mid-range segment. Both of them feature a punch-hole display, an under-display fingerprint sensor, and a quad-camera cluster at the back housed in a rectangle module.
Samsung Galaxy A51 & Galaxy A71: Price in India
We expect the Galaxy A51 price in India to be around Rs. 29,999 for its entry-level model. However, while Samsung releases the Galaxy A51 globally with a base 4GB RAM / 64GB storage model, Samsung India could launch the phone in a 6GB RAM / 128GB storage variant only. The phone was made available in multiple color variants, including Prism Crush Pink, Prism Crush White, Prism Crush Blue, and Prism Crush Black.
Moving to the Galaxy A71 price in India, it could be set around Rs. 29,990 for the entry-level variant with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The device also comes in an 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage variant, but its retail price is still under wraps for now. It was also announced in multiple color models, including Prism Crush Black, Prism Crush Silver, Prism Crush Blue, and Prism Crush Pink.

Let’s start with the Galaxy A51. The handset flaunts a 6.5-inch Infinity-O display on a Super AMOLED panel. The screen supports up to FHD+ resolution and has a 20:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, it gets an Exynos 9611 SoC, aided by 4/6/8GB RAM and 128GB of storage (expandable via a dedicated microSDXC slot). In terms of software, the handset runs on Android 10 with One UI 2.0 atop. Around the back, it sports four rear cameras, which are 48MP main sensor, 12MP wide-angle camera, 5MP depth-sensing camera, and a 5MP dedicated macro camera. For selfies, there is a 32MP camera available on the front. Finally, it is fueled by a 4,000 mAh battery that supports 15W quick charging solution.

The Galaxy A71 rocks a 6.71” Infinity-O Super AMOLED panel that bears Full-HD+ resolution. Both the A51 and A71 feature an under-display fingerprint sensor for security. Ticking at its core is a Snapdragon 730 chipset, coupled with 6/8GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. Software-wise, it also boots Android 10-based OneUI 2.0 at launch. In terms of camera, it rocks a quad-camera lens setup at the back that consists of a 64MP main sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, a 5MP dedicated macro camera, and a 5MP depth sensor. Fueling the handset will be a 4,500 mAh battery that supports 25W rapid charging.
