Galaxy A51 & Galaxy A71 Go Official With Hole-Punch Displays

The Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A71 both feature a hole-punch display with Full-HD+ resolution and quad rear camera setup that is housed in a rectangle module.

After many leaks and rumors, the Galaxy A51 & Galaxy A71 finally go official. The two handsets are new additions to Samsung’s Galaxy A 2020 lineup. Both of them come with a hole-punch display, which has already been used on the Galaxy S10 & Galaxy Note 10 series. In addition, Samsung also touts the Galaxy A51 to be the first phone in the world to come with a “macro camera close-up”. Other highlights of the duo are quad rear camera cluster, under-display fingerprint scanner, and beefy battery with support for fast charging technology.

Galaxy A51 & Galaxy A71: Availability & Price

The price of the Galaxy A51 in Vietnam is set at VND 7,990,000 (roughly Rs. 24,000). Users in Vietnam can start pre-ordering the phone in the country from 16 December or purchase the phone directly from 27 December.

The handset is available in Black Crush Diamond, White Sparkling Crush, and Green Crush Multicolor hues.

Moving to the Galaxy A71, its price and availability are still unknown at the moment. However, we know that it will come in Blue, Pink, Silver, and Black color variants.

Galaxy A51: Features & Specifications

The Galaxy A51 is packed with a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED panel that supports Full-HD+ resolution. There is a punch-hole in the top center of the display that houses a 32MP sensor for selfies and video chats.  Under the hood, it gets processing power from an Exynos 9611 SoC, coupled with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage (expandable up to 512GB).

In terms of camera, its quad-camera cluster on the rear consists of a 48MP main sensor, a 12MP wide-angle snapper, a 5MP depth-sensing camera, and a 5MP macro camera. Finally, it draws fuel from a 4,000 mAh battery cell, that supports 15W quick charging solution.

Galaxy A71: Features & Specifications

The Galaxy A71 gets a slightly larger 6.7-inch Super AMOLED panel. Similar to the A51, its display also supports Full-HD+ resolution and has a punch-hole at the top center. Powering the device is an octa-core Snapdragon 730 chipset with 2.2GHz clock speed, aided by 6/8GB RAM and 128GB expandable storage.

On the rear, it boasts four rear cameras, comprising of a 64MP main sensor, a 5MP macro camera, a 12MP wide-angle shooter, and a 5MP depth unit. Upfront, there is also a 32MP selfie camera just like its sibling. Powering the entire setup is a beefier 4,500 mAh cell that supports 25W fast charging technology.
