In terms of imaging capabilities, the upcoming phone will sport a triple rear camera setup. Accordingly, it has an additional 8-megapixel 120° ultra-wide camera with f/2.2 aperture, in addition to the same dual cameras like the Galaxy A20 including a 5-megapixel depth sensor and a 13-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.9 aperture. On the front, the phone still comes with an 8-megapixel selfie camera.

The display is expected to be a bit bigger. The handset will sport a 6.5-inch TFT LCD screen, which is slightly larger than the 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display of the A20 and much bigger than the 5.8-inch LCD display of the A20e.

Under the hood, the A20s will be powered by a Snapdragon 450 chipset which has octa-core Cortex A53. It is not as good as the 6x A53 cores and 2x A73 cores of Exynos 7884 SoC that the handset replaces. So you should expect a significant decrease in the single-core performance. In addition, the GPU of the upcoming phone is also less powerful.

Furthermore, the device is tipped to be packed with more RAM and internal storage, which starts at 4G RAM + 64GB storage instead of 3GB RAM + 32GB storage as the A20 and A20e. Notably, the microSD card slot will still be available on the phone.

The phone is expected to have a big 4,000 mAh battery with the 15W quick charging support. So the handset is almost similar to the A20, but the A20s is reported to use microUSB.

The upcoming A20s is set to be unveiled in 3 color options including Red, Green, and Black. So far, Samsung has not announced the official launch date of the phone. So we still need to wait for further information in the coming time.
