It seems like the Galaxy A20s will be launched pretty soon, since it was just spotted on Wi-Fi Alliance website with several details revealed.

Recently, South Korean phone maker Samsung unveiled the Galaxy A10s, which is an ODEM device made by Jiaxing Yongrui Electron Technology. Now, it seems the brand is planning to announce another smartphone in the Galaxy A series, dubbed Galaxy A20s. The handset has already bagged Wi-Fi Alliance certification, which means the phone might be coming soon.

Galaxy A20

The variant that was certified on Wi-Fi Alliance carried model number SM-A207F/DS. Aside from that, the listing only reveals that the device will support single-band Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and ship with Android 9 Pie out of the box.

While the specifications of the upcoming Galaxy A20s haven't been revealed yet, we believe that it should carry several minor upgrades over the Galaxy A20. To recall, the Galaxy A20 sports a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED panel with HD+ (1,560 x 720p) resolution. It is powered by an Exynos 7884 SoC. Similar to the recently-launched Galaxy A10s, the A20s might be driven by a MediaTek SoC instead of Samsung's Exynos 7884 chipset.

The Galaxy A20s is expected to feature a better camera setup over its predecessor A20

In terms of memory configuration, the A20 is offered in a sole variant with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card slot. It comes with a dual-camera system on the rear, including a 13MP main sensor and a 5MP secondary camera with an ultra-wide lens. On the front, there is an 8MP shooter for selfies and video chats. We believe that the Galaxy A20s should feature a slightly better camera setup compared to the A20.

As mentioned earlier, the Galaxy A20s might make its debut in India alongside the Galaxy A70s and Galaxy A30s. It will come in two color variants - Blue and Black. As for the price, it should be priced under Rs. 13,000 in the country.
