According to retail sources, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A10s will be priced from Rs. 7,990 in India. If that is indeed the price of the Galaxy A10s, it will fall in the same price segment as its sibling Galaxy A10. The A10 was initially priced at Rs. 8,490 but was later slashed to RS. 7,990. Aside from the price, the retail sources also gave us some details about the phone’s specs.
It is said to come with a 6.2-inch HD+ screen, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of storage which is only half of what Samsung offers on the Galaxy A10. In addition, the handset will be powered by a chipset with 1.6 GHz clock speed, but we can’t confirm the exact identity of the chipset. Moreover, even though we don’t have the exact date when the phone makes its debut in India, we have learned that it will launch in the country either next week or early next month.
Aside from the Galaxy A10s, the South Korean brand also announced the Galaxy A10e in the US market at $179.99 (around Rs. 12,400). It is packed with 2GB RAM, 32GB of storage, a single 8MP rear camera, and a 3,000 mAh battery. With this specs, it is considered to be the inferior model of the Galaxy A10.
Samsung Galaxy A10s: Expected specifications & features
According to previous rumors and leaks, the upcoming Galaxy A10s will come with a dual camera system on the rear with a 13MP main camera & a 2MP depth sensor for portrait photos. On the front, there should be an 8MP camera for taking selfies and video calling, which is better than the 5MP one on the Galaxy A10.
Software-wise, the Galaxy A10s is expected to ship with Android 9 Pie out of the box with Samsung’s One UI on top to take care of the software side of things. In terms of battery, it might be equipped with a larger 4,000 mAh battery in comparison with the 3,400 mAh cell on the Galaxy A10.
