It is almost certain that the tech giant Apple will make an announcement to introduce a new series of its iPad Pro tablets late October this year.
There are more details being revealed on October 11 as several new model numbers were spotted in MIIT (China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology) database, as discovered by MySmartPrice, hinting at Apple Pencil and iPad Pro updates.
Even though the new model numbers are actually for iPad Pro and Apple Pencil or other models of iPad Apple is planning to launch this fall. The model that received MIIT certifications on September 18 is A1993 and following by that are A1980 and A1876 on September 29.

Because Apple is registering new iPad models in a new country, it may hint that the release can be very soon. While all of those are just speculation, Apple is known for having two different model numbers for LTE - Wi-Fi model and Wi-Fi only model of its iPad. At an event that is likely to happen late October, models of new iPad Pro will feature a thin-bezel design, Face ID integration, and also USB Type-C. We are also expecting a new Mac mini coming with an updated Mac lineup.
And Apple is expected to introduce new iPad Pro series at two size of 10.5 and 12.9 inches, with bigger displays and slimmer bezels as well as no Home button. All new models on this iPad Pro series are expected to have Face ID and a TrueDepth camera system, better camera capabilities, better processors, and perhaps a USB-C port instead of the traditional Lightning port.
