The handset was slated to go on sale from 11 July and the time has come. It is now up for grabs via Mi India store and Flipkart.

The base option of the handset with 2GB RAM / 16GB storage is priced at Rs. 5,799 while the top-end variant with 3GB RAM / 32GB storage will set you back by Rs. 6,199. Both variants will be available in Blue, Gold, and Black colours. However, the price of the two variants are cut down by Rs. 200 as a part of an introductory offer and will only be available for a short amount of time.
As for launch offers, Jio users can get up to Rs. 2,200 cashback and 125GB free data. Buyers can also spend Rs. 399 for the accidental and liquid protection damages package.
Redmi 7A: Specifications & Features

The Redmi 7A comes with a 5.45-inch HD+ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. Powering the handset is an octa-core Snapdragon 439 SoC, paired with 2/3GB of RAM and 16/32GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card slot. Software-wise, it ships with the company’s MIUI 10 which is based on Android 9 Pie. Xiaomi also equips it with an FM radio receiver which allows users to listen to the FM radio broadcasts without having to plug their earphones.

In terms of camera, there is a single 12MP Sony IMX 486 sensor on the rear while it is equipped with a 5MP camera on the front for selfies and video calls. Its connectivity options include dual-SIM slots, Wi-FI, 4G VoLTE, GPS, and Bluetooth v5.0. Finally, a beefy 4,000 mAh battery completes the specifications list.
