According to LetsGoDigital, the site first spotted this information, these variants are called Reno Lite, Reno Youth, Reno Zoom, Reno Plus, and Reno Pro. Meanwhile, previous rumours have revealed about six models on the Oppo Reno series, and Oppo could plan to launch most of these devices to Europe. It is known that the five trademarks do not show any information about the handset itself but reveal the phones’ potential branding in the lineup.
Also, rumour has it that there could be another variant dubbed Reno Light Delux. The device is said to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 or 675 chipset. Besides, there is a vanilla Oppo Reno with 3 variants including one with 8GB RAM + 256GB internal storage, one with 10GB + 256GB internal storage, and the other with 12GB RAM + 512 GB internal storage. Meanwhile, the flagship Lamborghini Edition will come with 12GB RAM and 512GB internal storage. According to a post spotted by Shen Yiren, Oppo’s Vice President, the Reno sub-brand will also feature VOOC 3.0. Therefore, it is expected that all smartphones, but the exclusive version, will get this feature. Also, the 10X hybrid optical zoom tech will be the unique selling point of the new smartphones. Recently, the camera’s photo samples have been shared by Shen Yiren on Weibo.
In addition to Oppo, only Huawei has introduced an identical technology on its new P30 Pro which is set to be unveiled next week. And the Oppo Reno series will have the starting price of US$550 for the most affordable smartphones. And Oppo plans to debut its devices in China on 10 April, and the launch in Europe is still on the cards.
