Black Shark 2 Pro Tops AnTuTu’s Powerful Smartphone Ranking in August 2019

AnTuTu benchmark site has just announced its list of the top smartphones with the most powerful performance in August. Accordingly, Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro leads the ranking with the total score of 469,708. It is known that the result is based on AnTuTu’s eighth version which is available in the Chinese market only.
Additionally, it is worth noting that the final scores are based on the phones’ average rating. The eighth version of the benchmark site emphasizes the results of storage more. Therefore, the same handset can get different scores, depending on the memory configuration of the phone.
The top of the list Black Shark 2 Pro’s 12GB + 256GB storage variant is slightly more powerful than the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant of the ASUS ROG Phone 2 with the total score of 469,590 points. It is known that the two handsets are the only devices to be powered by Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset in the list, while other devices all come with Snapdragon 855 chipset. The third position goes to OnePlus 7 Pro with the AnTuTu score of 447,345 points in the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant.
The next spot belongs to the ZTE Nubia Red Magic 3 gaming phone closely followed by the regular Black Shark 2 and OnePlus 7. Meanwhile, Xiaomi Mi 9 Explorer Edition holds the seven position in the ranking. The last 3 positions go to the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage ZTE Axon 10 Pro 5G, the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage Meizu 16s, and the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage Redmi K20 Pro.
Separately, Nubia is about to launch its Red Magic 3S today. This phone has recently appeared on AnTuTu and gained the total score of 510,496 points, which is considered as the highest score ever on AnTuTu benchmark site. The handset is also powered by a Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset, coupled with Adreno 640 GPU.
