The next smartphone in the Black Shark series is finally unveiled in China. The Black Shark 2 Pro is the successor to the Black Shark that recently launched in India. It is the second phone in the world to feature the Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC, that is recently announced. As expected, the Black Shark 2 Pro is also equipped with the next generation Liquid Cooling tech for better heat control. There are also TrueView screen with high refresh rate and a few gaming accessories offered with the phone.

Black Shark 2 Pro: Price
The handset is priced at CNY 2,999 (around Rs. 30,000) for the entry-level option with 12GB RAM / 128GB storage. The top-end variant with 12GB RAM / 256GB storage is retailed at CNY 3,499 (around Rs. 35,000). It is slated to be available for sale for the Chinese market from 2 August.

Black Shark 2: Specifications & Features
There are a lot of similarities between the Black Shark 2 Pro and its predecessor Black Shark 2. The handset sports a 6.39-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with a2,340 x 1,080 resolution. It also has DC Dimming 2.0 feature and a 240Hz touch sample rate. Powering the phone is a Snapdragon 855 Plus under the hood, paired with 12GB RAM and up to 256GB of storage. With the chipset, the phone achieved an impressive score of 500,610 on AnTuTu, and that it is currently the highest score in the world for a smartphone. In terms of software, it ships with Android 9 Pie with Xiaomi’s MIUI 10 on top.

On the imaging department, the Black Shark 2 Pro rocks a dual-camera setup, including a 48MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture and a 12MP telephoto sensor with 2x optical zoom support. Its connectivity options include dual-SIM slots, 4G LTE, Bluetooth v5.0, dual-band Wi-Fi, A-GPS with GLONASS, and a USB-C port. Finally, the phone is packed with a beefy 4,000 mAh cell with support for Quick Charge 4.0.
