Be Careful With Galaxy S10 Phones As Their Screens Are Most Costly To Replace In All Samsung Phones

You might need to be careful with the new Galaxy S10 phones as their screens are the most costly to replace compared to all other Samsung smartphones.

The costs to replace the displays of the newly-launched Samsung Galaxy S10 lineup are the highest in comparison with other phones in the entire Samsung flagship series, including the Galaxy Note 9. However, those costs are still substantially lower than what Apple is charging its users to replace an iPhone display. As the official costs for iPhone screen replacement and Galaxy S10 lineup are not listed on Apple and Samsung India's official website, we use the costs listed on Samsung Taiwan & Apple Taiwan in Taiwan instead.

In Taiwan, the difference between the costs of replacing one on the Note 8 to the Galaxy S10+ is not really significant, with the lowest staying at TWD 4,700 (around Rs. 10,550) to the highest being TWD 7,100 (around Rs. 15,900). However, these are still pretty high to just replace a single screen on a phone. You have to pay TWD 7,100 (around Rs. 15,900) just to replace the 6.4-inch Dynamic AMOLED panel on the Galaxy S10+.

Even the 5.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution on the Galaxy S10e is just as expensive as the larger 6.4-inch Super AMOLED curved panel on the Galaxy Note 9 with QHD+ resolution and HDR10+. The cost for the Galaxy Note 9 is TWD 5,500 (~Rs. 12,300) and it is TWD 5,350 (~Rs. 12,000). It might be due to the hole-punch design on the front. Therefore, you might want to be more careful using these latest Samsung flagships even with the cheapest Galaxy S10e.

However, they are still more ‘affordable’ when comparing them to what Apple offers to replace an iPhone display. The company charges users TWD 10,790 (~Rs. 24,000) while it is TWD 7,100 (~ Rs. 15,900) for the Galaxy S10+.

The difference between the Galaxy S10e and iPhone XR’s displays is less significant, with Samsung charging TWD 5,350 (~Rs. 12,000) while Apple offering TWD 6,490 (~ Rs. 14,500).
