Asus has just confirmed that the ASUS Zenfone 7 will be launched next week, succeeding the Zenfone 6 launched in May last year. Several leaked details of the device have been emerged online, revealing specs and an unexpectedly low price of the upcoming phone.
According to a new leak, the Asus Zenfone 7 will be equipped with Snapdragon 865+ processor, 6GB / 8GB RAM, 128GB / 256GB storage, and a beefy 5,000mAh battery. The specifications are quite impressive, but even more impressive is the surprisingly low price of ASUS' upcoming flagship. According to the source, the Zenfone 7 price will start at 499 EUR (around Rs. 44,400) for the 6GB / 128GB version. This is close to the starting price of Zenfone 6 in Europe, but only has 64GB of storage.

The 8GB / 256GB version of the Zenfone 7 might be priced at 549 EUR (around Rs. 48,800) in Europe. This price is even cheaper than the 8GB / 256GB version of the Zenfone 6 when launched (599 EUR - Rs. 52,300).
This pricing is very competitive for a flagship smartphone launched in 2020. Even the brand that used to offer budget flagship like OnePlus has had to increase the price of the OnePlus 8 to $699 for the lowest version. Obviously, we have to wait for official information to see whether this leak is accurate or not.
In addition, Asus' German branch recently shared a video introducing Zenfone 7. This short video does not show us the design of the smartphone, but it does reveal that the handset will have a unique flip camera design just like its predecessor Zenfone 6.
