Asus Zenfone 6 Appears On Flipkark, To Launch On India Soon

At the beginning of this week, Asus officially launched its Asus Zenfone 6. Now the brand will soon launch this flagship handset in the Indian market. Although the certain launch date has not been announced, the upcoming Zenfone 6 has appeared on Flipkart with the caption “Coming soon to India”.

Asus Zenfone 6 phone is considered as the flagship of the company in 2019. While the pop-up selfie camera has become a current trend in the mobile market, the upcoming phone features a flip camera module, which differentiates itself among other smartphones. Accordingly, the device features a camera setup on the back that doubles up as selfie camera when flipped open. The rear camera setup includes a 48MP primary sensor with f/1.79 aperture and a 13MP ultra-wide angle sensor.

Asus Zenfone 6: Specifications & Features

The Asus Zenfone 6 comes with a 6.4-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and a Gorilla Glass 6 protective layer. In addition, the device is powered by a Snapdragon 855 chipset. The phone has 3 variants and there is no information how many variants will debut in the Indian market. The vanilla Zenfone 6 features 6GB RAM + 64GB internal storage while mid-range variant has 6GB RAM + 128GB internal storage. The top model is equipped with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.

The handset is backed with a 5,000 mAh cell, supporting the 18W QuickCharge 4.0. The brand also equipped a dedicated key on the phone’s right side which users can customize. Other connectivity options comprise of USB-C port, audio socket, FM Radio, NFC, GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, Wifi, three card slots, and 4G VoLTE. In terms of software, the handset runs ZenUI 6 based on Android 9.0 Pie with “Essential Custom”.

Asus Zenfone 6: Expected price

So far, the company has announced the prices of Zenfone 6 in Europe. Accordingly, three variants of the series are respectively priced at €499 (roughly Rs. 39,000), €559 (roughly Rs. 43,900), and €599 (roughly Rs. 47,000).
