The ASUS ROG Phone II Ultimate Edition is a more powerful edition of the ROG Phone II announced recently with a Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC, 12GB RAM, and more.

The ASUS ROG Phone II Ultimate Edition is a more powerful model of the vanilla ROG Phone II phone that launched a few months ago. The handset has just been introduced at the IFA 2019 event. This new model packs a whopping 12GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage, which is the most you can get in a smartphone at the moment. It also boasts a matte black finish as well as a faster LTE speed with the Cat 20 4G LTE support, that is said to offer up to 2Gbps download speed. Aside from these features, the rest of the specs of the ROG Phone II ultimate Edition is identical to those of its sibling.

ASUS ROG Phone II Ultimate Edition: Price

The handset is priced at €1,199 (around Rs. 94,800), which is €300 (23,700) higher than the base variant of the standard model. The phone will go on sale in India next month. Aside from that, the brand also revealed the availability of the ROG Phone II in other markets. It will be available in Europe later this month.

ASUS ROG Phone II Ultimate Edition: Specifications

The ROG Phone II was the first phone in the world to feature the Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset. On the front, it boasts a 6.59-inch AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The handset is available in two memory variants - 8GB of RAM / 128GB of storage and 12GB of RAM / 512GB of storage.

In terms of camera, it comes with a dual-camera setup, including a 48M main sensor and a 13MP secondary shooter at the back. For selfies and video chats, it is equipped with a 24MP camera on the front. The brand goes for Android 9.0 Pie on the phone to take care of the software side of things with its ZenUI on top. Fueling the entire setup is a whopping 6,000 mAh cell under the hood with support for 30W fast charging technology. Other notable features include a cooling fan, dual vibration motors, dual-screen accessory, control pad, a Switch-like docking station, and a Nintendo Switch Joy-Conn like controllers.
