ASUS has already launched the ROG Phone 2, which is considered as the no.1 gaming phone. The handset has many highly attractive features to enhance the gaming experience.

The phone sports a 120Hz AMOLED screen, which is expected to offer buttery smooth animations. Under the hood is a flagship Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset, which makes it the world’s first smartphone to come with this SoC. Additionally, it is backed by a beefy 6,000 mAh battery with the 30W fast charging tech support.
Regarding the design of the handset, it also has some slight changes. The phone has a rear single vent and on-screen fingerprint sensor. Also, the device sports a dual rear camera setup including a 48MP Sony IMX586 f/1.79 primary sensor and a 13MP ultra-wide sensor, which is similar to the camera setup on ASUS 6Z/Zenfone 6. On the front, the phone comes with a 24MP selfie sensor.

In addition to the flagship Qualcomm chipset, the handset comes with 12GB RAM + up to 512GB storage. It also features UFS 3.0 for opening and loading applications faster. The brand equipped the phone with stereo speakers supporting DTS:X Ultra on the front, which is said to 2.5 times louder than the ones launched last year. Other connectivity options include dual SIM, Bluetooth v5.0, NFC, FM Radio, USB-C port, and a headphone jack.
The phone still comes with a side-aligned connector from the first generation and the brand features new accessories to come with it. Accordingly, it equips the second-generation AeroActive Cooler 2 fan that is more efficient and quieter at remaining the cool temperature for the phone. Besides, there is Twin View Dock 2 as well and it has a second display with 120Hz refresh rate, a big 5,000 mAh battery, and a cooling fan. The dock reportedly has a better apportioning of weight and is lighter.

Another accessory introduced by the brand is the Kunai Gamepad that can be attached together to create a gamepad in case users have the handset docked or attached to each phone’s side in the handheld mode. In addition, users can use Kunai Gamepad with Twin View Dock 2.
It is known that ASUS hasn’t announced the ROG Phone 2’s price yet. However, the brand said that it expect the same pricing to the original that costs from $899 (roughly Rs. 62,000)
The Chinese model has been unveiled on July 23 and features a glossy rear panel instead of the matte finish like the international variant.
