Last year, the Chinese phone maker Oppo announced its first full-screen phone in India dubbed Oppo Find X. The device was followed by several similar handsets this year that also come with all-screen fascia, including Oppo Reno phones and Oppo F11 Pro. Now, the brand is about to announce another handset with a similar design in the country. Even though the company hasn’t confirmed anything officially, Amazon India has begun teasing the announcement of a new handset from Oppo. The giant retailer doesn’t reveal the exact identity of the phone, but it appears to be the recently-launched Oppo K3, which already made its debut in May in China. It is released in the mid-range segment with a pop-up camera and dual rear cameras.

The teaser posted by Amazon reveals that this phone will feature an impressive 91.1 percent screen-to-body ratio that is in line with that of the Oppo K3. There are also a few more things revealed in the teaser, including Gorilla Glass 5, an AMOLED panel, and support for VOOC 3.0 fast charging, all of which are also present on the Oppo K3. The handset is currently retailed at roughly Rs. 16,000.
OPPO K3: Specifications & Features
The handset comes with a 6.5-inch AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution and a fingerprint reader embedded under its display for biometric security. Powering the phone is a Snapdragon 710 octa-core processor, accompanied by up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. Software-wise, it ships with Oppo’s ColorOS 6 that is based on Android 9.0 Pie.

In terms of camera, the handset features two camera setup on the rear, including a 16MP main shooter and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, there is a 16MP pop-up camera for taking selfies and video chats. Finally, it packs a 3,765 mAh battery that can be quickly recharged with the VOOC 3.0 fast charging solution.
