Amazon India Confirms Oppo K3 To Launch in India On 19 July

The landing page of the Oppo K3 in Amazon India confirms that the handset will make its debut in India on 19 July.

A new smartphone in the Oppo K series has just been teased by Amazon India to launch in India and it is now confirmed to be the Oppo K3. Previously, we suggested that the handset might make its debut in India on 19 July.
Now, Amazon India has listed the Oppo K3 in its landing page, confirming the 19 July launch date. The Oppo K3 will launch as the direct successor to the Oppo K1 that launched earlier in the year in the country.
Oppo K3: Expected price
The handset is shown in the landing page to come in two color variants while it was originally launched in three options. We are not sure whether the brand will bring all three to India. As for the price, it is likely that the handset will be priced from Rs. 15,999.
To recall, its base variant with 6GB of RAM / 64GB storage is retailed at RMB 1,599 (around Rs. 16,200). The two other option with 8GB RAM / 128GB of storage & 8GB RAM + 256GB storage are retailed at RMB 1,899 (around Rs. 19,200) and RMB 2,299 (around Rs. 23,200), respectively.
Oppo K3: Specifications
The phone comes with a 6.5-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Under the hood, there is a Snapdragon 710 SoC ticking at its core, paired with 6/8GB of RAM and 64/128/256GB of storage. For security, it features an on-screen fingerprint reader for biometric authentication.
Moving to the camera department, it is equipped with a dual camera setup at the back, comprising of a 16MP primary camera with f/1.7 aperture and a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. On the front, there is a 16MP pop-up camera with f/2.0 aperture for selfies & video chats. The Oppo’s ColorOS v6.0 based on Android 9 Pie comes preloaded on the handset. Finally, it is fueled by a 3,765 mAh battery with support for 20W VOOC 3.0 fast charging.
