A new video has revealed a key change in the design of the Huawei's first foldable phone - the Huawei Mate X.

Recently, Samsung has announced its Samsung Fold and has already created a buzz in the smartphone market. Huawei also joined the competition and announced its Huawei Mate X, and it is ready to announce the launch date. The move did not coincide with the gaffes of Samsung Galaxy Fold directly, but it seems like Huawei Mate X has decided to take some of the notes.

A recent video of Huawei Mate X has come up with a change ahead of the release date. This unboxing video suggests that the foldable device of Huawei will also come up very soon.

In the video clip spotted by the PhoneArena, the newest alterations in Huawei Mate X can also be seen. The most recent and obvious development is the presence of a button on the phone’s rear. We were aware of this addition of button, but it will be seen in the public for the very first time. This is the power button which is required to be pressed for releasing screen and allowing it to get folded out.

The more secure fold would mean that it is harder for dirt and dust to enter in between various mechanisms of the phone- this is a major issue for Samsung Fold. Moreover, this is all possibilities and probabilities until more concrete information and details on Mate X are obtained as launch approaches.

The button was seen originally back in the month of August when the pictures were sent to the TENAA, the Chinese regulator, which gave look at the Mate X. These pictures revealed a button and addition of Time of Flight sensor to the setup of the camera.

The latest update received was on Huawei Mate X’s status in the month of September during the IFA 2019. The CEO of Huawei, Richard Yu stated that foldable smartphones could hit the shelves probably this month. Moreover, this appears unlikely at this particular stage.
