Xiaomi has prepared to launch an online event for its brand new Mi-branded laptops across social media channels on the same date. The official announcement also fell in line with some early information leaked by well-known tipster Ishan Agarwal and 91Mobiles. Ishan Agarwal once hinted that we could see rebranded RedmiBook with some changes in terms of specifications.

Despite that leakers talked about a RedmiBook 13 that boasts an Intel Core i7, the company’s latest announcement claims that the Indian users will have a chance to see a brand new laptop with unique specifications tailored for them.

A recent report from Windows Central reveals that this laptop model is likely to be a custom variant of Mi Notebook products. Accordingly, the 13-inch laptop is expected to house an Intel processor, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage under the hood.

In fact, a batch of new laptops from Xiaomi was recently spotted on Bluetooth SIG’s website, including a model codenamed XMA1904. Some of them are not available in China yet, so it’s evident that India would become a potential market for these newcomers.
