There has been a significant growth witnessed in Windows 10 in the last few months. In March, the tech giant said that over 800 million devices had installed this operating system, 100 million more than September last year.

Windows is a series of operating systems for personal computers that Microsoft created as part of its Windows NT family of OS. Windows 10 is Windows 8.1’s successor, released to manufacturing in July 2015. Windows 10 has new builds on the company's ongoing basis, and users don't have to pay any additional fees to get the new test builds of the OS which is made available to Windows Insiders.

One of the biggest features of Windows 10 is its support for universal apps, which is an expansion of Windows 8's Metro-style apps. Universal apps can run across many Microsoft product families with almost identical code like Mixed Reality, Surface Hub, Xbox One, embedded systems, smartphones, tablets, and PCs.
