It seems that iPhone users will soon be able to add dark mode to WhatsApp. Specifically, in its TestFlight beta program, the popular messaging platform is including the dark mode setting in several recent testing notes, as reported by MacRumors.
Last month, an updated beta for WhatsApp on Android was seen, which suggests the upcoming features for iOS users. Specifically, there will be a new theme option in apps settings, with which users can either manually switch the display mode or leave it to the phone.

WhatsApp did not respond immediately to a comment request.
Dark mode allows users to set a moody color theme for their phone screen. In addition, it was noted by Google that dark mode can decrease the battery consumption on devices that have an OLED screen.
WhatsApp has long been loved and had a huge userbase in India. The app is easy to use, it also updates and fixes bugs quickly. Besides, WhatsApp also works continuously to come up with new, better features for its users.

In separated news, with the increasing concerns over the spread of the coronavirus, a message was circulated on WhatsApp warning people about how to wear masks the right way. The message advised people to wear the mask inside out for better protection against the coronavirus. As this is the most popular messaging platform in India, there’s no telling how many people received this non-sense advice.
It turned out that no matter which side of the mask you wear outside, the effectiveness remains the same, but if you really wear the mask inside out, you may feel more and more uncomfortable over time. So, try to wear the mask right.
