TikTok Partners With NSDC To Promote Skill Development Among Young People

Hyped short-video sharing platform TikTok has worked with the NSDC to launch an in-app campaign aiming at promoting skill development among young people.

Hyped short-video sharing platform TikTok has worked with the NSDC (National Skill Development Corporation) to launch an in-app campaign aiming at promoting skill development among young people. TikTok will be utilized by NSDC to let users know about programs about skill development as well as training opportunities for vocational from the government.
The partnership wants to take advantage of the 200-million-users community of TikTok to raise awareness around the mission of NSDC to spread information about government-driven programs.

TikTok is currently available in 10 main Indian languages. With its popularity among youngsters, the NSDC believes it would be the best tool to reach out to young people.
Gaurav Kapoor, Senior Head at Comm. & Advocacy and Industry Partnership & CSR, NSDC, said:

NSDC’s goal is to promote skill development through catalyzing the set up of large qualified for-profit vocational institutions. To accomplish the “Skilled India” vision, NSDC wants to utilize the aid of TikTok to train a large number of youngsters with Scale, Speed, and High Standards.

TikTok’s Director and Public Policy, Nitin Saluja said about the partnership:

Through short videos with the hashtag #Skills4All, the collaboration between two NSDC and TikTok has already received more than 47 mil views with the help of some of the most well-known creators on the platform.
