On Tuesday, the official Twitter account of Dubai Police posted a picture that confirmed it would add a Cybertruck to its police car fleet.

If you don’t want to get in trouble with the police on the street in Dubai, don’t speed. This city-state, which became crazy rich due to its oil industry, is situated in UAE (the United Arab Emirates). Here, you will see an impressive fleet of police cars that look like they won’t back from any car races.

And now, if I ask you what’s the most recent, controversial vehicle you can think of, what pops in your head first? The Cybertruck, which if you still remember, whose windows got broken right on stage with a ball in front of Elon Musk, Tesla’s design chief, and the world.

Despite all that, on Tuesday, the official Twitter account of Dubai Police posted a picture that confirmed it would add a Cybertruck to its police car fleet. The futuristic vehicle will serve side by side other metal cars like the Ferrari FF, Lamborghini Aventador, Bugatti Veyron, as well as many others. The most recently added member of the fleet was the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S.

According to Dubai Police’s commander in chief Major General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, the Cybertruck will be used in areas concentrated with tourists, as reported by Arabian Business.

If you know Dubai, you surely know the city always picks top-of-the-line models, and in this case, an expensive vehicle with futuristic design and features. Tesla says that the Cybertruck has a range of over 800 kilometers, running on a tri-motor system that offers a great deal of power. The firm’s CEO Elon Musk didn’t reveal the car’s horsepower during his announcement, but he did say the electric pickup truck will take only 2.9 seconds to go from 0 km/h to 90 km/h. This ability makes the car stand alongside the best car currently serving in the Police’s ranks in Dubai.

The city decided to choose this car probably also because of its strength. In the reveal, the vehicle was hit with a sledgehammer and remained unscathed and Musk claimed that it was resistant to bullets from 9mm handguns.
