Recently, Elon Musk, Tesla’s CEO, shared a little bit more about the controversial Cybertruck. What he posted is a holiday update with the Full Self Driving and several car modes, with the highlight is the Camp Mode.
When the mode is activated, the vehicle maintains a certain amount of light, temperature, and air ventilation to meet the needs of camping. There are more. Users can play music and power electronic devices for up to 48 hours by the car’s battery while it is parked.
In a previous tweet of Elon Musk, what the Full Self-Driving mode can do is pretty limited. The only improvement we can see is the ability of the car to read the sign. As stated by Tesla, the Cybertruck can now recognize objects like stop signs, stoplights, and some road markings.
Users also have the option to show messages in the form of a card or read it out loud. The driver can also reply to the messages by voice. Overall, voice command has been made easier than ever.
In the release notes about the Camp Mode, Tesla wrote that when Camp Mode is on, the Cybertruck would maintain interior lighting, airflow, and temperature, provide power for devices, as well as play music.
The mode can only be turned on when the car is parked. To activate it, all users have to do is to choose CAMP or Keep Climate at the bottom of the touchscreen.
However, for now, these features have not yet been confirmed to be on the production versions of the Cybertruck. But if it is the case, the adaptability and versatility will be increased.
They will become selling points for those who are in search of a vehicle that can help them explore and enjoy the great outdoors.
