Samsung India Messes Up, Tweeting Praises For Galaxy A9 From An iPhone

Samsung India has become the tech community's subject for trolling after it was seen promoting its product, the Galaxy A9 on Twitter using an iPhone.

There are many celebrities who are made fun of after using iPhone to post tweets promoting for Android smartphones. Take Anushka Sharma as an example. However, it seems like famous celebrities won’t be the only one being trolled at for promoting one product using its rival brand’s product. Last month, the tech giant from South Korea, Samsung became the tech community’s subject for trolling after using an iPhone to promote its product, Galaxy Note9 on Twitter. Well, this time, Samsung India has messed up again.

The tweet from Samsung contains its praises for the Galaxy A9. Unfortunately, it was posted via an iPhone, Samsung’s longtime rival. The tweet has then been deleted. The reason for the tweet removal is pretty obvious. But a lot of people who have been able to save a screenshot of the tweet still post it online to mock the tech giant.

A famous YouTuber, the owner of a channel called MKBHD whose real name is Marques Brownlee, was the author of the spreading screenshot.

There is no doubt that the cameras of the Galaxy A9 are really good at capturing photos, as you can see from the tweet. But, it would make sense if these tweets are posted via Samsung phones because, well, it is a Samsung smartphone. It is kind of hilarious and ironical as well, to see a company promoting its products using its rival product.

So we think that brands should be extra cautious about this matter if they don’t want to be trolled by internet users and the tech community.

With that being said, Samsung is not the only firm using an iPhone to praise its product on Twitter. Honor has also been caught doing this.

What are your opinions about this? Have you ever come across any tweets like this while scrolling down your Twitter feeds?
