The boom of the industry is believed to come down to higher disposable incomes, a large number of smartphones users, better broadband, and new gaming genres being introduced. As 4G services are now more affordable, Indian online gamers number is expected to increase considerably. Although mobile gaming is the most significant force that drives this development, the fields of console gaming and PC also see steady growth.
Gaming is gaining its position as a profession as a large number of national and international competitions is creating opportunities for youngsters to earn their living by engaging in this practice. This, in turn, increases the demand for gaming hardware.
In the community for professional gamers, the market for accessories, components, and high configured gaming PCs is also getting larger. RP tech India has considerable advantages in providing gaming hardware, with its diverse product portfolio and the ability to cover a large number of areas.
In fact, RP tech India distributes 40% of the gaming accessories and components in the country. It is also the primary distributor of well-known brands in this field including Intel, Lenovo, HP, Dell, Asus, Plantronics, Logitech and many more. It offers graphics cards, routers CPU, SSDs, RAM, keyboard, headset, motherboards, monitor, just to name a few.
What the company is doing is to create an online configurator that can offer a large number of hardware solutions after just one single click.
Although the growth of this market mostly comes from professional gamers because of the availability and the cost, Goenka is confident that the market will boom in 3 or 5 years as the users’ disposal income is on the rise and this is the general progress for the industry.
