The famous game PUBG had been banned in Nepal after the accusation of having a negative mental impact on youth. So the Nepal authorities are likely to change their mind now.
Citing a speech of an official from NTA on April 11, PUBG was claimed by parents who worry about the affection on their kids including neglecting the study as well as getting addicted to the game. As a part of it, Nepal authorities did ask local internet providers and mobile operators to block traffic related to PUBG servers, along with arresting players who did not comply.
The report also disclosed the main reasons making PUBG unblocked is due to petition by lawyers against the government’s ban. The ban was supposed to impact the freedom of Nepal’s residents and hence should not be available anymore.
In the meantime, the UAE is considering to ban the game or not. It’s further noted that Iraq has also placed a ban on PUBG recently. However, it's expected to be unblocked like what India and Nepal have been done. Fortunately, the game now is able to continue its immense popularity in Nepal.
