Apple Music, in an attempt to beat its bitter rival Spotify, has recently released a web client for its music and video streaming service. So now, people in India can have access to the service via all Amazon Alexa devices.
Subscribers of Apple Music can enjoy music from their Echo devices with Alexa. Apple also said that from now on, all Alexa-powered devices would be able to automatically identify the service of the iPhone maker as the default source to play music from. However, if users have Alexa on their mobile devices, they cannot have the same benefit by using the app’s voice command.

Those who want to activate this feature can go to the Alexa app and access Settings via a tablet or a smartphone. The next step is to scroll down and select Apple Music.
When you finish, you can stream music from Apple Music as well as playing them on several grouped Alexa-powered speakers simultaneously. Since many people in the same household can add their own songs to the playlist or mark something as favorite, and these actions should be done by the individual that has the account, Apple does not allow deep control to be executed by voice command.
According to Amazon, subscribers of Apple Music can have Alexa streams radio stations made by experts on well-loved local genres such as Punjabi, Tamil, Bollywood, and Telugu.
In December last year, Amazon said that users of Apple Music would be able to listen to music via all Alexa-powered devices. While that announcement was made not so long ago, we are able to see Apple began to open up to partnerships with other companies, and in this particular situation, a direct opponent of Microsoft and Google.
