In the Indian market, more and more people are putting their attention on digital money. It is clearly shown via the spike from 82 to 235 in June 2019. The data was given by LocalBitcoins – a Helsinki-based Bitcoin startup company.

Last month, Facebook made an announcement on 'Calibra' - its new cryptocurrency subsidiary - which would launch 'Libra' in 2020 as a solution to allow about 100 crores users to make transactions via their mobile phones and they don't need any bank account.

'Libra' is expected to work as a stand-alone application and run on both WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger next year. In addition, the company has partnered with 27 global organizations to build the non-profit Libra Association.
