Flipkart has shown that in the last two years, the market of gaming PCs in India has witnessed phenomenal growth, which is a result of many factors.

As claimed by Flipkart, there is an increase in the number of Indian consumers using the Internet to buy high-performance gaming machines. The actual reason for the growth of the need for gaming machines, especially notebooks, is that more mid-tier products are available on the market and at the same time more people show their interests in professional gaming.

Last year, Flipkart shipped gaming PCs to more than 1200 cities across India. And in 2017, the number of cities in which the company delivered gaming PCs was more than five hundred. During 2018, the company delivered gaming machines in twice as many cities as it did in the prior year, and the number continues to be on the rise.

So who is showing their need for gaming machines? Normally, professional gamers, casual gamers, and hardcore players are the main supporters of gaming machines. However, recently, players who are “professional” but the game “casually” are promising supporters of gaming machines. Clearly, the company is aiming at these consumers to know their preferences and needs.
Gaming laptops are on the rise

The market of PC gaming is very large, and occasionally quite unclear. Players can either purchase a new laptop or build their desktop on their own as many enthusiastic players do. Recently, many large traditional laptop producers, such as Dell, Asus, MSI, Lenovo, and HP, are trying their best to persuade both regular users and gamers to buy gaming machines. Two major benefits of gaming laptops are portability and screens in high quality with better refresh rates.

Usually, gaming notebooks are not cheap, although their prices have drastically decreased in recent months. The value of Indian gaming laptops varies from Rs 500,000 to Rs 50,000, relying on the configuration, model, and brand.

IDC stated that last year, gaming has left desktops to move to notebooks, because in 2018, there was a year-over-year increase of 123% in gaming laptops, meanwhile, at the same time, gaming desktops experienced a decrease of about 32%.

Esports popularity is another factor that contributes to the increased Indians’ need for gaming laptops. Laptop makers like Alienware and Asus provide strong notebooks that are designed for esports gamers. These notebooks are more expensive than normal gaming notebooks; however, they feature leading specifications with a strong GPU built-in.
